The NFTE World Series of Innovation celebrates global entrepreneurship and the power of ideas via its three step premise of picking a challenge, brainstorming, and submitting the idea.

NFTE WSI is an international competition for youths around the globe to take initiative for achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. Our entry won first place for gender equality/sustainable development goals 5 out of numerous entries from 63 countries.

Bronze Medallion distinguished finalist from the largest United States youth recognition program on community initiative. We were the only awarded project from NYC.

The founder of Efforts in Youth Development of Bangladesh, Jahin Rahman, was awarded with the National Silver award for the Presidential Volunteer Service Award.

In 2021, Jahin Rahman and EYDB were featured in the Children's Museum of Indianapolis as a Power of Children Awards winner.

The Power of Children Awards rewards students who are improving the lives of others through a selfless commitment to service. The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis Oct. 30 announced the 2020 group of Power of Children Award winners with Jahin Rahman's name on the list.

The Children Have the Power to Empower Award recognizes children ages 6 to 17 for their outstanding acts of goodness and encourage them, through recognition and positive feedback, to continue to do what they can to ease life’s journey for those who struggle.

EYDB received a commendation from Governor Andrew Cuomo in 2020.

Equitable Excellence awards winners coming from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences, but are united by their drive, determination, and strong character.

The George H.W. Bush Points of Light Awards honors individuals who demonstrate the transformative power of service, and who are driving significant and sustained impact through their everyday actions and words that light the path for other points of light.

EYDB received a commendation from the Interim Commissioner for New York State Department of Education in 2020.

Jahin Rahman was a Distinguished Finalist from New York City for the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards which is the United States' largest youth recognition program based exclusively on volunteer community service.

Riley's Way for Kindness is a national contest that funds teen-led projects that inspire kindness, strengthen communities, and bring people together.

EYDB received a commendation from Mayor Bill de Blasio in 2020.
